 CSA Flower Subscription
Terms & Conditions

This is a CSA Membership agreement between East Hill Farm LLC and you, the subscriber.

Terms

East Hill Farm’s Pick Your Own Flower subscription is set up as a CSA, Community Supported  Agriculture, a farm business model in which subscribers purchase subscriptions in the late  winter/early spring to help the Farm reduce the burden of up-front costs (such as flower bulbs,  seeds, and growing supplies) before the season begins.

East Hill Farm will provide one (1) bouquet and Mason Jar for each share Purchased, to members during  the summer of 2025 growing season.

Payment

Purchase of shares is required to secure a spot in the East Hill Farm CSA's current growing season.

Refunds

A CSA is about commitment to a local farmer and our commitment to you. There are no refunds,  either full or partial, for cancellation of your East Hill Farm CSA once purchased.  Members may choose to find an alternate person to buy out the rest of the season’s  subscription, and the subscription ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The  alternate person will pay the original purchaser directly. The original purchaser understands that  they are responsible for informing East Hill Farm if such a transfer occurs.

Expectations

1.While there is no designated schedule or times to Pick Your Own Flowers, I agree to visit only during East Hill Farm's Hours of Operation.

2. If I am unable to visit on a purchased share week and I do not contact East Hill Farm to make alternate arrangements, the flower bouquet and flower mason jar will be forfeit as a result.

3. I understand that my arrangement is a living, breathing, and senescent entity - and that any vase life is not guaranteed on any material or the arrangement as a whole.  (Information about caring for the flowers will be included at the beginning of the  subscription and is on our website.)

4. I understand that the bouquet or arrangement will be composed of a variety of seasonally available materials and that no specific flowers or colors or varieties can be promised or guaranteed.

5. I understand that none of the arrangements or the materials therein is intended for edible or topical use. Although East Hill Farm uses sustainable growing methods and no harsh chemicals are sprayed on their flowers, I understand that the flowers themselves may be irritating or toxic or poisonous if ingested by humans or other animals, and I agree to hold East Hill Farm free of liability.

6. I understand that by becoming a member I am sharing in the risk and rewards of the  growing season. I realize there is an element of unpredictability with pests, disease,  weather, acts of god and other unforeseen circumstances that may contribute or detract from the production of flowers, and I agree that my flowers may be subject to these  factors. In the event of a catastrophic farm failure, we will do our best to adapt to the situation but, unfortunately, there are no guarantees when it comes to farming.

8. I will automatically be added to our email list and I promise to stay subscribed to it for as long as I am a paying member of the CSA. It is very important to read the emails since we use it to communicate with you as a customer and to inform you of any changes or updates.
